End User License Agreement (EULA)
Last updated: May 23, 2026
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is a legal contract between you (the "End User") and Lumière Labs ("we", "us", or "our") governing your installation, use, and uninstallation of the Lumière suite of browser extensions, including but not limited to Just My Type, EasyEmails, EyeCare Pro, Diviget, Refined Roles, Spotify Controller, Highlight Em Dashes, and Thank God.
Strict Trust & Transparency Commitment: We adhere fully to Google's Unwanted Software Policy. All Lumière extensions run strictly in a client-side sandbox environment, utilize local-first storage, contain zero bundled adware or installers, and can be uninstalled completely in less than 10 seconds.
1. Grant of License & Installation
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable, non-exclusive license to download, install, and run our extensions strictly through the official Google Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, or Mozilla Add-ons marketplace. You agree to use these tools in accordance with the policies established by the respective browser vendor stores.
2. Description of Extension Functionality
Each Lumière extension serves a dedicated, transparent utility designed to enhance your local browser workflows:
- Just My Type: A local-first text expander allowing you to save and trigger custom snippets from keyboard shortcuts.
- EasyEmails: Assists in structuring outbound drafts locally.
- EyeCare Pro: Prompts users to look away and rest eyes based on the 20-20-20 rule.
- Diviget: Simplifies contact text extraction from specific clipboard contents.
- Refined Roles: Formats resume layouts.
- Spotify Controller: Links open media players locally.
- Highlight Em Dashes: Highlights em-dashes inside text documents.
- Thank God: Locally-running productivity task tracker.
3. Clean Code Guarantee (No Hidden Adware or Bundles)
We guarantee that our software operates on clean, secure code rules. We explicitly warrant that our browser extensions:
- Do NOT bundle any third-party toolbars, search hijackers, spyware, or alternative browser wrappers.
- Do NOT inject ads, redirect search queries, or modify your browser homepage/default search engine settings.
- Do NOT perform system-wide changes, registry modification, or background services outside of the browser sandbox.
4. Complete Data Privacy & Local-First Isolation
All extensions operate on a local-first storage architecture. All snippets, variables, configurations, or inputs reside exclusively in your browser's local sandbox (IndexedDB or LocalStorage). We do not operate databases to collect or store your inputs on remote servers, keeping your data entirely isolated and private.
5. Step-by-Step Extension Uninstallation Guide
We believe that removing software should be just as easy as installing it. If you decide that our productivity extensions do not meet your expectations, you can completely uninstall and remove all associated local files in less than 10 seconds. Please follow the standard uninstallation guidelines below:
How to Uninstall Extensions in Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge:
-
Method A (Quick Menu):
Click on the jigsaw piece Extension icon (🧩) next to your URL search bar in the top-right corner of your browser. Locate the Lumière extension you wish to remove, click the three-dot vertical menu (⋮), and choose "Remove from Chrome..." (or "Remove from Microsoft Edge"). -
Method B (Extension Manager):
Typechrome://extensions(oredge://extensions) in your address bar and press Enter. Locate the extension card, and simply click the white "Remove" button inside the card. -
Method C (Right-Click):
If the extension icon is pinned directly to your toolbar, right-click the icon itself and select "Remove from Chrome..." to instantly delete the tool.
6. License Fees and Upgrade Disclosures
Lumière extensions are entirely free to install and offer highly functional basic capabilities out of the box. Users may voluntarily upgrade to premium plans to expand storage quotas or unlock advanced prompt vaults. All payment processing is managed by verified, PCI-compliant checkout terminals (Stripe) with zero hidden recurring fees or deceptive auto-renew contracts.
7. EULA Term & Agreement Revisions
This license is active from the moment of extension installation. You may terminate it at any time by simply following the uninstallation instructions above. We reserve the right to revise this agreement as browser standards (such as Manifest MV3 specifications) evolve. Continued usage of our tools signifies approval of the updated terms.
8. Contact & Developer Support
For technical inquiries, bug reporting, or help with uninstallation, please reach out to our support engineers at support@lumiere-digital.com.
